InMotion’s 2010 Annual Photography Auction and Benefit, scheduled for Monday, April 19th, will be here before you know it. This year, we move to the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, 811 Seventh Avenue (at 53rd Street), New York City.
We depend on the support of over 150 volunteers to make the Benefit run smoothly, and we invite you to join us as an event volunteer at this year’s Benefit. Feel free to invite a friend to volunteer with you!
Please review the list of available shifts and assignments to determine which timing works best with your schedule. We will do our best to accommodate requests you may have for specific assignments.

Early evening shift — 5:00–9:00 pm
(exact time and duration will vary with job assignment)

- Silent auction set-up
- Photo auction attendants
- Greeting and directing guests
- Seating guests/collecting raffle drawing entries

As time allows, volunteers for the early evening shift are invited to enjoy dinner and cocktails; a buffet dinner will be available from 7:00–10:30 pm. |

Late shift — 6:00–10:30 pm

- Auction payment processing
- Auction bid spotters and payment runners
- Packing supplies and event breakdown

As time allows, volunteers for the late shift are invited to enjoy dinner and cocktails; a buffet dinner will be available from 7:00–10:30 pm. |

Please note that some volunteer jobs, such as being an auction bid “spotter,” may not allow much time to enjoy the buffet dinner, and those volunteers will be advised to eat dinner before the event, or may be invited to the earlier cocktail period only. |
