Throughout the year, inMotion holds a variety of special events designed to introduce individuals and institutions to our work and the women we serve.

Annual Photography Auction & Benefit
Every spring, we hold our most important fundraiser—and one of the most prestigious charitable events in New York City. Plans are already underway for our 2012 Photography Auction and Benefit. We hope to see you at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers on Thursday, April 7. Learn more.

Commitment to Justice Awards
On Thursday, February 9, we will honor the hundreds of individuals who volunteer with us—lawyers, legal assistants, students and other professionals—for their collective commitment to helping women and their families achieve justice. Other special events

Informational breakfasts
Held two to three times per year, our informational breakfasts are an easy way to learn about inMotion and meet members of our board and staff. There is no charge to attend. Scheduled during the work week from 8:30–9:30 am and held in mid-town Manhattan, these events are designed to accommodate the demanding calendars of working professionals.

Evening receptions
Each spring and fall, inMotion hosts evening cocktail receptions. Settings vary from art galleries and private homes, to theater and musical performances. The evening includes a brief presentation by one or more of our volunteer attorneys and their clients, providing guests with firsthand accounts of the dramatic impact of inMotion’s legal and social work services.
