Continuing legal education
InMotion offers free, CLE-accredited, live trainings throughout the year in matrimonial, family and immigration law. Training sessions include a special focus on both the impact of domestic violence on the lives of survivors and the challenges faced by immigrants.
Upon completing a training seminar, attorneys commit to taking a pro bono case either individually or as part of a team of two or more attorneys. Detailed practice manuals and sample documents are provided. Our experienced staff attorneys are on hand to answer questions and review documents throughout your inMotion case. Training videos are available for individuals who are unable to attend one of our scheduled training sessions.
Attorneys not yet admitted to the New York bar can take a case under the supervision of an admitted attorney pursuant to inMotion’s Student Practice Order. Contact inMotion for more information.
Your commitment
Trainings are offered to attorneys who are willing to take an inMotion pro bono case immediately following the completion of the training course.
Pre-registration is required for all trainings.
