Law schools
InMotion works directly with law school faculty and student groups to involve students in practical, community-based public service while they are pursuing their degrees.
Pro bono
Many law schools encourage or require their students to become involved in pro bono work. During the academic year and throughout the summer, law students from the majority of schools in the New York City area volunteer on pro bono projects and cases at inMotion.
Paid internships and clinic credit
Paid internships and work-study credit offered by law schools to their students provide valuable opportunities to earn needed income while gaining substantive legal experience. InMotion provides direct client contact under experienced staff attorney supervision to paid interns and work-study students from area law schools. Learn more.
Universities
InMotion has formal and informal relationships with graduate programs in a number of universities, the majority in the New York City metropolitan area.
Social work
InMotion is a field placement site for MSW graduate students at Columbia University School of Social Work, Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and New York University School of Social Work. Learn more.
