Congratulations Tanya!
4th Annual Lake George Triathlon—September 19, 2009

On September 19, Junior Advisory Board member Tanya George braved 40-degree temperatures and the chilly waters of Lake George to complete the Olympic-distance Lake George Triathlon. Calling upon her friends and family for support, Tanya's Race for Justice raised $4,331 to benefit inMotion and the women we serve.

For each of the past three years, Tanya has trained for a major physical challenge to raise money for inMotion. Tanya shares:

"I do it for two reasons. I do it for the challenge. And I do it for the amazing women who need the legal assistance inMotion provides. I've seen it myself. That help changes the balance of power, and it shows women they have the power to change their situation. I am proud to support inMotion and grateful for the incredible outpouring of support from family, friends and colleagues who join me in this cause." 

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Tanya and all of the many caring individuals who supported Tanya's Race for Justice. Your generous support has brought hope and security to New York City women and children living in domestic crisis.
