Special event internship
Development and Marketing—Fall, spring and summer semesters
Position description
InMotion is recruiting part-time or full-time interns to work with our fundraising team to organize and execute donor and volunteer special events throughout the year, including our annual Photography Auction and Benefit, which attracts over 1,000 guests. This is an unpaid internship, but it may qualify for school credit. The internship will benefit individuals pursuing a career in event planning, art gallery administration or non-profit fundraising. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn about the legal field and women’s social services.
InMotion boasts a warm, casual work environment and is conveniently located in mid-town Manhattan, with excellent access to local transportation. Interns will receive credit on the event program, and, upon successful completion of the internship, inMotion can provide a letter of reference for future employers. Interns may also participate in various inMotion special events during the period.
