Administrative internship
Finance and Operations—Fall, spring and summer semesters
Position description
InMotion seeks part-time administrative interns for the fall, spring and summer semesters. This position requires 10-20 hours per week. The internship is unpaid; however students may apply for work-study, a grant or clinical credit through their school. Positions are available in our Manhattan, Bronx, and Queens offices.

Since 1993, inMotion has confronted the challenging needs of families in crisis by providing free, quality legal services to low-income, underserved, abused women and their children. Position responsibilities
Interns work under the direction of inMotion’s manager, operations and office administrators. Administrative responsibilities include filing, computer data entry, preparing mailings and assisting with arranging client meetings and interviews. The intern may be assigned additional tasks as appropriate to his/her skills and interests.
| Qualifications |
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, self-starter, and highly motivated
|
- Knowledge of the law and legal terminology and domestic violence issues helpful but not required
|
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
|
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
