Linda S. Green
In-House Volunteer, Bronx Office

linda green_thumb_head_story.jpg“The look of relief on a woman’s face when she knows that someone is listening, someone cares, is the best reward.”

Several years ago, Linda was looking for an opportunity to provide much needed support services to women in her community. Linda learned about volunteer opportunities at inMotion through the City Bar Fund and has been involved with inMotion ever since.

As a regular volunteer at our monthly Bronx clinics, Linda is often the first person our clients meet. Linda does initial intake interviews and then summarizes our clients’ situations and legal issues for the staff attorneys at the clinic.

Linda’s empathy and confidence have been a great source of comfort and support for women who are grappling with serious personal and legal issues. Linda is inspired by the women she has met at the clinics and is grateful that she can play a role in their empowerment.

Linda recently received a Commitment to Justice Award from inMotion for her professionalism, reliability and unshakable calm at our monthly Bronx clinics.
